The founders of Flykidz Gymnastics have over 10 years experience coaching pre-school, recreational, pre-competitive and competitive gymnastics, as well as being former gymnasts themselves. They are certified by both the British Gymnastics Association and Gymnastics Australia. They possess a real passion for this sport and believe in the immense benefits it brings to all children.

Here’s what some of our families have to say about their journey with us.
Malit was enlisted in the Philippines Junior National Team during his high school, and then changed track to be a cheerleading champion in his college time.
He has competed in the Philippines National Games, Milo Nationals and Philippines Olympics Festivals. Malit has been coaching in Malaysia for 10 years and is familiar with the local gymnastics system.
Hairi started as a gymnast at age 8, then selected to national junior at Bukit Jalil when he was 12, and then started his journey as a regular starter in the senior team representing Malaysia a year later.
He has competed in SEA Games, ASIA Championships, Commonwealth Games, etc. Coach Hairi was also one of the national coach for junior team from 2014-18, he has sent athletes to compete in Vietnam, Hong Kong and even World Junior Series.
Haikal began his gymnastics journey at the age of 11 and quickly advanced to become Perlis state gymnast the next year. He competed in SUKMA 2018 in Ipoh, Perak, SUKMA 2022 in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, SUKMA 2024 in Sarawak, and the National Championship at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.
Alongside his athletic career, Coach Haikal also served as a part-time coach for the Perlis team, sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport while continuing to grow as both a gymnast and mentor.
Aiman started gymnastics at the age of 6 and has more than 15 years of experience as a national-level athlete. He has represented Malaysia at the Asian Championships 2023 and 2025, and the SEA Games 2023, earning a bronze medal in the team event.
As a WADA-certified athlete, Coach Aiman emphasizes safe training, discipline, and long-term athlete development. He enjoys coaching children and beginners, helping them build strong basics, confidence, and a love for gymnastics in a positive and supportive environment.
Shaamen has been coaching gymnasts since 2016, as young as 4 years old to recreational, junior athletes and adults with no prior gymnastics background. He emphasizes building confidence, discipline, and a strong foundation as he believes these are the keys to unlocking a gymnast’s full potential. He has backgrounds in artistic gymnastics, b-boying, trampoline and pole sports.
Iman began her gymnastics journey at the age of 5 with Flykidz Gymnastics. She has represented the Flykidz team in various local and international competitions. At 19, she stepped into a new role as a part-time coach and has since discovered her passion for coaching, which she continues to pursue today.
