Age Groups & Programs
What is the youngest age you accept?
We accept children from 18 months old in our Gymtots program — a parent-accompanied class focused on early motor development, balance, and coordination.
What is the difference between Gymtots and Kindergym?
Gymtots (18 months – 3 years) is a parent-accompanied movement play class. Kindergym (3–5 years) is a structured beginner program where children work independently with a coach. Most children transition from Gymtots to Kindergym around age 3.
What age is the best age to start gymnastics?
Any age is a great age to start. Toddlers from 18 months benefit from Gymtots motor development. Children aged 5–8 who join Recreational build strong fundamentals fast. Older beginners (9+) can join Intermediate. There is no age too late to begin gymnastics.
Do you offer classes for older children and teenagers?
Yes. Our Intermediate (11+ years) program is fitness-focused for experienced gymnasts not pursuing competition. Our Competitive pathway — Pre-Competitive, Competitive, and Elite — caters to teenagers training at state and national level.
What is the Tumbling program?
Tumbling is open to all ages and skill levels. It focuses on flips, twists, and power floor movements. Great for children who want acrobatic skills, and popular with cheerleaders and dancers.
How do I know which program my child belongs in?
Our coaches assess your child during the free trial class and recommend the right group. You don’t need to decide in advance — just book the trial and we’ll guide you from there.
